Kids...need I say more..

Ok, say I first must say that I need a vacation! So I will be venting...why can't kids be responsible? Why do they tell you the night before a project is due that they need to do it? I just don't get this one! Anyway, I just made the best poisonous dart frog habitat. I think I should get the A, not CARSON! lol...Ok now I'm done venting but if you can answer those questions please feel free to let me know!?!

So volleyball is finally over but now I got asked to tutor the ELL kids after school. I did decline after I found out I have a 50 page research paper I have to write for my current master's class! Yikes, I'm a little scared! Why am I going to school again? Oh that's right because our lovely AZ government just cut our education budget and is asking for money back that they already gave our school districts! Wow! I wonder how bad it will get? I sure hope I don't have to move states to find a job in teaching!?! Well, I guess I just have kids to talk to so it's good to let others know I'm some what normal...lol j/k.

Anyway, needless to say, baseball season is coming up and my life is about to get crazy. I love that sport! haha (not).

Well, I'm almost done coaching volleyball. I cannot wait to be done. I have had an overflowing plate for the last two months. My eyes were too hungry for that extra money that really wasn't worth all of the extra stress. I love hindsight!

I am getting my Master's degree in Adult Education. I have been looking into applying to teach education classes at some community colleges and private universities however I have to construct a "Curriculum Vitae". If you know what that is or have a sample of one, please help me! I beg of you! There is a great position I'd like to apply for but I need this Currivulum vitae!

Lastly, life is treating us well. We are very busy. Please come visit us or text me and say hi!

How Time Flies!!! Aug 2008
It's amazing how fast time flies! I haven't been on here in forever! The side photos have been updated! Yipee! The boys are growing up fast! Life at our house is soooo BUSY! I am teaching at Power Ranch and the boys all come with me except Cody. Cody goes to Higley High and is in 9th grade. Cameron is in 7th grade, Carson is in 3rd grade, and Carter is in Kindergarten. Between sports and work we all stay very busy.I just started to go back to school to get my Master's Degree in Adult Education and Training. I hope to be able to teach college courses in the next two years! I am so excited for this new opportunity in my life. I love school! Sounds crazy, but I am fascinated with learning new things!

Cody plays football at Higley High. He plays wide receiver and safety. He needs to grow a FEW inches but time will help with that. Cody has a great heart and is such a wonderful boy! I cherish our times together.

Cameron is playing basketball right now. He is a great player! I can't believe what a great kid he is. He does have to be reminded to do his homework but I guess that's the typical 7th grader! Someday he'll get the importance of doing it on his own! LOL....i hope!

Carson is in 3rd grade and a huge talker! He loves to listen to himself talk! So if you are ever bored, give us a call and chat with Carson. He is a smart boy too! He must take after me! haha

Carter is Mr. Rico Suavay! He is definitely a ladies man! Wow! He's in Kindergarten talking about his next girlfriend. He sure is a funny boy! He always puts a smile on our face. Ask him to speak Spanish sometime...it is hilarious!

Ok, so I'm not very good at keeping this thing updated but I try. I am still loving being a teacher but am pursing other options with my master's degree. One day I will quit teaching kids and will move on and teach adults. I hope to one day teach at the college level. Right now I am teaching, going to school, and coaching 7th grade girls' volleyball. I am way to busy for my own good!

All the boys are growing so fast. Before I know it Cody is going to be driving. He is busy with sports ALL the time. He hardly has time to do his chores which he doesn't mind. He is a great boy. He enjoys going to seminary and is in all honors classes. He is way too smart for me but helps all his friends with their homework. He almost got straight A's except for his B in honors Geometry. His wasn't satisfied with that B. lol...

Cameron is busy being my helper since he chooses to walk the line of "laziness". He had to quit sports because he was slacking in his school work. I joke with him about how he is my little Kindergartner that needs babysitting. He is getting better though. He is a great help at volleyball. The girls on the team keep asking if he can play. I tell them to motivate him to do his homework...they just laugh...

Carson and Carter are sure growing up. Carter just turned 6 on New Year's Day. Carson will turn 9 on Jan. 24th. As fast as we want our kids to grow up, we find out that soon they will be gone. I guess there's both a postive and negative to that one. Carter is our little firecracker. He is sooooo funny. He is always saying random things to make us laugh. Carson just talks to hear himself talk. He never quits talking!

WOW!!! I can't believe this!! I just tucked everyone into bed and 30 mins later I hear some giggling and whispering. I go out into the family room and low and behold Cody and Cameron have snuck out and are playing video games instead of going to bed! (Ironically, I told them today that they were grounded from video games til Friday!) SHEEESHHH! These boys!
I did laugh and say good try but jeez....what teenagers try to pull off! LOL

Baseball update

So baseball is on full fledge. Cody is playing short stop, pitcher, and catcher. He also plays 1st base.

Well, it's been a long while since I've been on here. We are now in full baseball mode hence the lovely background... :) All the boys are playing on different teams so it makes for challenging weekday nights! Games are always fun too...so come out and join us. Here is a schedule of their games if you'd like to come out. They play them at South Valley Junior High. It is located on Lindsey between Williamsfield and Ray on the west side of the road. You can't miss it.

Now you all have no excuse not to attend the games because here is the schedule!!!

Wow...it's already February!!

Hello-

Well, it's been a busy few months. Life is still going well for all of us. I'm looking forward to spring break and having a week off of work. I've been taking some classes for my job so that I can advance on my pay scale....us poor teachers...LOL...I love my 3rd graders and have a wonderful class this year.

Cameron has been being lazzzyyy so I moved him over to the school I teach at. He is in 6th grade which is middle school. He has made new friends and still has issues with completing his work...ask him what his grades are...yikes...

Carson just turned 8 and loves 2nd grade. He also lost his 2 front teeth so he looks too cute! He is Mr. Smartypants and thinks he knows everything but what 8 yr old doesn't??? haha

Carter turned 5 on New Year's Day. He knows his all his letters and sounds and is writing his name perfectly for a 5 yr old! He is too smart as well! He will be going to Kindergarten in August. Yay...

Cody is excited to be picking his classes for high school. Yes, I said that...highschool. He will be in 9th grade next year. He said it was pretty scary when he went to check it out for a day. He said it was gross because everyone was kissing and stuff....LOL...soon that will be him...NOT!!!

Busy week...

Well another busy week...after a week off for Fall break we are all back in the swing of school. Cody had the priviledge to play with the high school band on Friday night at their football game. He was so excited to play with Higley High's band! Cody is quite excited at the sight of his broken toe because his toe nail is ready to fall off! He was announcing today that he can't wait for it to fall off and that it will be so "Cool".

Cameron was happy to be able to return to football play after having to sit out for a few weeks. He almost broke his left hand. So after a few weeks off he was finally able to return and now is moving his hand...yikes!!!

Carson is working on getting green lights this week. He also has decided not to eat again....what a kid! Cute at least...lol

Carter has been sick the past few days. Luckily John has been able to help me with him and actually stayed home from work with him. I am not able to take any days off til January....LONG story but mainly aLOT of bs!!!

I'm giving in....

I can't believe I am giving in to blogs....Mine won't be as cool as everyone elses but oh well. At least you can see some pics...Life has been good for me. I am teaching 3rd grade. The boys are going to Cortina and I teach at Power Ranch. I like having them at a different school but then again I feel like I never get to see them. I really miss seeing them everyday at school. Next year, I am going to make them come with me. Carter will be in Kindergarten. I can't believe that one! Cody is in 8th grade this year and Cameron is in 6th! In our school district they both are in middle school. They both are in honors classes and are doing well. However, Cameron wanted to learn a hard lesson in life that school comes before football.

Cameron decided to not do any of his science homework and thought he could still get good grades. Come to find out he realized he was in deep water when he came home with an F on his progress report! We all flipped! I couldn't believe it. So after many long hours, he had to do all his missed projects and homework in 3 days to pull up his grade. He now has a 79.4% and doesn't understand why his teacher won't round it up to a B. I just laughed....

Cody is in 8th grade and very excited that next year he will be in highschool! How about that one! Cody is a great boy and a great brother most of the time...we all have our moments. Recently, Cody was working in his dad's haunted house and a huge piece of plywood fell out of someone's hand and slammed on his big toe. It broke his toe and ripped off most of his toenail. He was a trooper and knew I was coming in. He told his dad that he wanted to scare me and that he'd get a bandaid after he scared me!!! Wow, he scared me with a broken!!

Carson is in 2nd grade this year. He is a talker. He never shuts his cute little mouth. So we have been working on not talking when the teachers is talking. He loves school and is a great boy. He recently got in trouble at school because he said some "Girls" were throwing rocks at him. Well, he didn't like it so he got bigger ones and started throwing them....needless to say, they both got in trouble. The joys of being young! haha! He also is one of the pickiest eaters I know. So when I got this pic of him eating dinner we all laughed! He does like lasagna, at least for this week!!!

Carter is in preschool now for his second year. He sure is a smartie! He thinks he can speak Spanish too. He will say, "I'm going to speak Spanish." Then the next thing you know is that he is saying just a bunch of nonsense words. It is quite hilarious. I need to video it sometime. He sure crack up! He is by far going to be the ladies man. He says he has two girlfriends and sure doesn't like to get teased about them. But every now and then he will tell you a story about how they try to kiss him....so I warned his sitter to beware!!
